User Support
If you have questions related to ESMF, write to the esmf_support@list.woc.noaa.gov mailing list. You do not need to be subscribed to this list to send an email, but the list is moderated and until you have been added to the list of allowable posters, your email will remain cached in a moderation queue. We check this queue regularly. Anyone who has downloaded ESMF is automatically allowed to post to this mailing list.
Support requests should include:
- the ESMF version
- computing platform information (platform, operating system, compiler)
- the name of the scientific application you are working with
- priority (e.g., urgent, high, normal, low)
- desired resolution time
If the request relates to a scientific application that was distributed to you with ESMF already incorporated, also:
- notify the application developers by cc'ing them or their application support list
